What a huge and brilliant weekend! We had a packed house for our Staged Reading, and it was a great success! The audience liked it, and the feedback they gave us was incredibly insightful and will be hugely useful for developing the show over the next two weeks.
As well as developing the work further before we start rehearsals again, we need to raise money for the show and bring it to life!
Please help us out and donate!
Some quotes from the feedback forms:
"I would recommend this show to my friends and describe it to them exactly as it is billed - A Musical Epic"
"I thought the music was great throughout - especially the ensemble, who contribute so much to the show's ambiance"
The cast is back in the rehearsal room, with only a day left before our reading: Tomorrow (Saturday 2/7) @ 3pm in Room 53!
Taryn Tonnelli celebrated her birthday by hitting some awe-inspiring notes as Ishtar, the goddess of love and war!
The cast is off from rehearsals for a few days preparing for our staged reading next week on: Saturday, Feb 7, 3pm.
It's cold outside! We're being kept warm by the heat of the chemistry between Shamhat and Enkidu as she turns him from Animal to Man. How are you keeping warm?
Khadija Sallet plays Shamhat and Ben Mulgrew plays Enkidu, lead by our fearless composer Ian Wehrle.
We had a BRILLIANT first rehearsal last night! We have some seriously talented people involved in this show!
Another rehearsal tonight in preparation for our reading on Saturday 7th February. Can't wait to hear more of the songs!
Pictured are Peter Petkovsek - Director and Writer; Ian Wehrle - Composer; Robert Agis - Gilgamesh; Ben Mulgrew - Enkidu; and Taryn Tonelli - Ishtar.
